Most of the stairlift manufacturers do stairlift rental.  Normally rentals are for the Straight Stairlift only, but one or two manufacturers do offer the rental on curves.

The Straight rentals are normally new stairlifts only but one or two manufacturers do include reconditioned stairlifts. This can also apply to the curved stairlift.

Prices for stairlift rental are normally high and often it is cheaper and more beneficial to buy rather than rent. With the Buy Back and Resale options that most of the manufacturers support you will get the market value when you do not need the stairlift anymore.

Examples of Rental costs –

STRAIGHT STAIRLIFT

1. You would pay £350 - £800 to install the stairlift and then £10 per week thereafter. Free servicing including Parts and Labour warranty for the period of rental. Normally for a maximum of 5 years.
2. Other options are to pay £1100 to install the stairlift and then after 6 months pay £10 per week . Free servicing including Parts and Labour warranty for the period of rental.Max 5 years. Normally.

CURVED STAIRLIFTS

1. You would pay £1000 - £1500 to install the stairlift and then £150 per month thereafter. Free servicing including Parts and Labour warranty for the period of rental.Max 5 years. Normally.
