Handicare Stairlifts first produced the Minivator stairlift back in the middle 1970s under the name of Dunstable Tool Makers.The design was sold to Sunrise Medical who fully developed the Minivator stairlift.A Norwegian company called Handicare bought Minivator in 2010. Handicare produce a full range of mobility products including bath lifts etc. The stairlift range is good including models for the Straight and curved staircases. Handicare now employs 400 people in the UK and are constantly developing there products. All parts are manufactured in the far east but assembled in the UK. All Products manufactured to BS 5776.

Minivator Straight Simplicity 

The Minivator Simplicity is used when no extras are required such as powered hinge ,auto platforms etc. This is the basic model in the Handicare range and is a reliable product with simple controls. A good cost effective stairlift. Seat colour is similar to sand.

Simplicity + Straight Stairlift 

The Simplicity + Straight Stairlift is designed for the user to require powered extras such as Powered Hinge and the Slide track, Six options on seat colours, powered swivel and powered footplate.

Minivator 2000 Curved Stairlift 

The Minivator 2000 was developed for the curved staircase.It has a double rail which will bend around all corners of your staircase also making spiral staircases possible.

All the extras can be added to this stairlift such as powered hinges,seat belts ,powered footplates etc.
