The Outdoor Stairlift is much the same as an indoor version but will have a galvanised or powder coated track. The controls will all be weather protected and the seat waterproof. They are built with a long durability to the weather. Before an Outdoor Stairlift can be fitted the customer will need to get an outdoor plug socket installed with full weather protection. The track can be fitted to all types of steps including stone-concrete-wood-metal etc. An ideal solution for the customer to be able to use their gardens again. The outdoor stairlift is also supplied with a weather proof cover which covers the whole chair and operational area when not in use.
Fitting an outdoor stairlift may take up to 2 hours as they are normally a little trickier than the indoor models. Most of the main stairlift manufacturers produce an outdoor stairlift. Prices are slightly more than the indoor versions.
