THE STRAIGHT & CURVED STAIRLIFT with a HINGE

A Stairlift hinge is used at the bottom of the stairs if there is a door way immediately at the bottom or the track may become a tripping hazard. This is particularly useful when the track will protrude into a hallway. The hinged stairlift has become very popular and is used approximately 50% of the time with straight and curved stairlifts. With the manual Hinge when the stairlift is not in use just simply lift the hinge up so that it does not cause an obstruction. The powered hinge will automatically go up and down when the stairlift is in use.

The Stairlift hinge is supplied either powered or manual on the straight stairlift and powered on the curved products. A great choice where a staircase is challenging.
